These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to AnyTTY websites, applications, open-source software, accounts, and optional managed services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using a managed Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Services
AnyTTY provides terminal and file access tools. AnyTTY Cloud is an optional managed service for daemon enrollment, endpoint discovery, connection routing, P2P negotiation, encrypted Relay fallback, usage measurement, and subscription management. Endpoint daemons continue to authenticate connections and enforce terminal and file permissions.
Open-source components remain governed by their published licenses. These Terms govern the hosted Services and do not replace the license terms for open-source code.
2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and pairing claims, and promptly revoke access you no longer trust. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable safeguards.
You may use the Services only to access systems and data that you own or are authorized to use.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to gain unauthorized access, distribute malware, interfere with networks or other users, evade service limits, violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property, or provide a competing shared Relay or resale service without written permission. You must not offer or operate the Services as public file hosting, a file-sharing or cyberlocker service, an open proxy, spyware, or covert monitoring. We may limit or suspend activity that creates a security, legal, or operational risk.
4. Plans, billing, and taxes
Current plan features and prices are displayed on the AnyTTY Cloud page. Paid plans renew for the billing period shown at checkout until canceled. Creem acts as merchant of record for eligible transactions and displays the applicable currency, taxes, and final total before payment. Your checkout and receipt identify the seller for that transaction.
Plan limits may include registered daemons, Relay concurrency, traffic, rate, or regions. Usage above an active entitlement may be limited rather than billed automatically unless an additional purchase is clearly presented and accepted.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel automatic renewal directly from the Cloud subscription page. Unless the checkout states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and access continues until then. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
For billing errors or refund requests, contact support@anytty.com. Refunds are handled according to applicable law, the checkout terms, and the merchant-of-record process. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep managed Services available, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or a service level unless a separate written agreement says so. Networks, endpoint availability, NAT behavior, third-party infrastructure, maintenance, and security incidents can affect connectivity.
We may change or retire features and plans. Material changes affecting an active paid plan will be communicated reasonably in advance when practicable. We will not retroactively charge a new price without presenting it before renewal or purchase.
7. Your data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. You retain rights to your terminal content and files. You grant us only the limited rights needed to route encrypted traffic, operate the Services, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet legal obligations.
8. Intellectual property
AnyTTY names, branding, hosted interfaces, and non-open-source service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant rights to use AnyTTY branding in a way that suggests endorsement or an official hosted service.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services and request deletion of eligible account data. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, or nonpayment. When reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis without warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. You remain responsible for endpoint security, backups, commands executed through terminals, and the systems you choose to access.
To the extent permitted by law, AnyTTY is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities. Any aggregate liability relating to a paid Service will not exceed the amount you paid for that Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page. If a material update requires consent, we will request it before the update applies to you.
