Display, themes and sizing
App appearance is configured on the phone, independently of desktop TUI YAML. Adjust readability before deciding whether to change remote terminal dimensions.
App and terminal appearance
Settings include app theme, light/dark behavior and language. Terminal settings separately control font, font size, terminal palette and cursor blinking. Changing the application theme does not necessarily change the terminal palette.
Separate App appearance, terminal colors and terminal size.
Capture instructions · app-appearance
Show font, size, theme, keyboard mode and automatic size takeover settings plus a theme preview.
Check ordinary text, error colors and selection before testing your editor. Missing font glyphs may appear as boxes; choose another font or adjust the program’s symbols.
Keyboard and viewport
Choose Auto, Resize or Shift keyboard mode and verify cursor visibility. Larger text reduces visible characters; it does not give each viewer an independent remote layout.
Terminal size
Automatic ownership controls whether the client attempts to take the resizing role. Start as a follower when co-viewing and take ownership when mobile reflow is needed. Creation also offers resizable, ask-before-resize or locked policies.
If a desktop full-screen program suddenly reflows, check whether the phone changed terminal dimensions. If content is clipped on mobile, inspect locking before moving the viewport or resizing.
TUI boundary
tui-v3.yaml does not configure App fonts, the petal menu or theme. Shared terminal owner/follower rules still apply; see multiple clients and sizing.
