Omitted fields inherit defaults. No shortcut scene is declared, so built-in bindings remain. These differ from the installer-recommended bindings.
Adapt it to your workflow
| Workflow | Change |
|---|---|
| Small windows | panel_presentation: split-line, density: compact |
| Frequent mobile co-viewing | auto_take_owner: false, then take ownership manually |
| Keyboard only | mouse: false; retain the footer |
| Existing host palette | palette: host; remove unwanted explicit colors |
| Learning modes | Increase sticky_prefix_timeout_ms; retain confirmations |
Full templates
The field template explains all settings. The recommended configuration includes complete binding scenes. Select the version matching your installed public client.
For custom bindings, edit a complete recommended file rather than copying one scene. Back up, validate and then replace the selected configuration. Use --config to return to a backup.
