Build and contribute
Public clients live in anytty/anytty; the site and product docs live in anytty/anytty-site. Private Cloud services are outside the public client repository.
Client development
Read CONTRIBUTING, repository guidance and CI after cloning. Install the Go, Node/npm and mobile toolchains declared by current repository files rather than relying on stale version numbers.
git clone https://github.com/anytty/anytty.git
cd anytty
npm ci
make build
make test
make test-clients
npm run public:check
Mobile builds also need Android SDK/Java or macOS/Xcode according to platform scripts. Do not copy private service implementation into public clients.
Documentation site
git clone https://github.com/anytty/anytty-site.git
cd anytty-site
npm ci
npm run site:check
npm run site:preview
Use the printed local address. Internal links must respect deployment base paths through shared helpers.
Documentation conventions
Plan modules and hierarchy before task pages. Tutorials explain goals, prerequisites, actions, results and failures; references centralize fields and bindings. Update both locales, navigation and legacy URL compatibility.
Relationship diagrams explain structure and flow; screenshots show real interfaces. When unavailable, use explicit slots describing the required state and purpose.
Before submitting
Run relevant checks and state verified/unverified scope. Follow the current contribution guide for DCO and other requirements. Exclude credentials, private source and user terminal content.
