Interaction and pickers

Interaction settings control the mouse, confirmations, search and picker density. They do not store terminal state or change device grants.

A starting configuration

version: 1
tui:
  interaction:
    mouse: true
    confirm_destructive: true
    sticky_prefix_timeout_ms: 5000
    shortcut_passthrough_interval_ms: 1000
    picker:
      fuzzy_match: subsequence
      highlight_matches: true
  chrome:
    picker:
      presentation: card
      width: adaptive
      density: comfortable
      endpoint_tabs: underline

mouse: false disables TUI mouse interaction while preserving keyboard controls. Destructive-action confirmations reduce accidental operations; still inspect the target task and device.

tui.chrome.picker accepts presentation: card/flat, width: adaptive/wide, density: compact/comfortable and endpoint_tabs: underline/plain.

Search lives under tui.interaction.picker. Currently only fuzzy_match: subsequence is supported. Disabling match highlighting removes color, not filtering. Customize device status glyphs and styles under chrome.picker.endpoint_status.

Clipboard history layout

version: 1
tui:
  interaction:
    clipboard_history:
      max_items: 200
      name_width: 34
      preview_width_ratio: 0.68

name_width uses terminal cells. Preview ratio also depends on available width and minimum columns. Do not treat max_items as a guarantee that sensitive entries are automatically erased; explicitly delete entries when required.

Verify changes

Validate, reopen the TUI, and check pane clicks, picker density, search highlighting and deletion prompts separately. Automatic size ownership is configured independently under tui.terminal.auto_take_owner; see sizing.
