Device and pairing commands
endpoint manages saved device configuration, pair handles one-time invitations, and access manages issued grants. Always identify which machine runs each operation.
Inspect saved devices
anytty endpoint list
anytty endpoint show workstation
anytty endpoint test workstation --json
Replace workstation with a real endpoint ID. Use --route ROUTE_ID when multiple routes are eligible. endpoint route manages routes; endpoint policy configures selection for the next session.
Issue on the target
Run anytty pair create on the task-owning machine with network routes reachable by the recipient. Follow Direct or SSH.
--ttl controls invitation redemption time: default 10 minutes, maximum 168 hours. --grant-ttl controls redeemed access lifetime; default 0 means no time expiration. --terminal ID limits access to one terminal; omitting it can grant daemon-wide access.
Redeem on the client
anytty pair inspect ./claim.txt
anytty pair import ./claim.txt --id workstation --client-label laptop
Receive the file privately from the device owner. Standard input is also supported; see import help. The App uses its pairing page. Redeemed credentials are client-bound rather than an indefinitely reusable shared invitation.
Revoke and clean up
On the target, inspect anytty access list, then follow anytty access revoke --help for the selected grant. Local endpoint remove does not revoke access.
Use endpoint disable / enable to suspend local selection and set-default to change the default. Automation should still name endpoints explicitly.
