Terminal tasks
The terminal list shows tasks on the selected device. Opening an existing terminal returns to the same process; New terminal creates a separate task.
Inspect an existing task
Find it by name and state. Resource samples indicate activity but zero CPU does not necessarily mean completion. Inspect the current program and prompt before typing.
Show task creation on mobile and host-side field meanings.
Capture instructions · app-terminals
Show running and exited tasks and the creation form with name, command, directory and size policy.
Create a terminal
Choose New terminal and enter a name, command and working directory. An empty command uses the default shell. Browse to select the directory. The environment section supports adding and pasting variables for the new task.
Choose a sizing policy: resizable, ask before resizing, or locked. Consider desktop co-viewers before allowing the phone to resize a task.
After submitting, check device, task name, directory and output. Resolve missing directories or programs on the target before retrying.
End and delete
Actions distinguish ending a process from deleting its terminal record. Review every selected task before batch operations. If a batch partially fails, inspect remaining entries rather than assuming all succeeded.
Closing a view, switching devices or quitting the App does not end a process. Use state, exit code and artifacts to judge results.
View multiple areas
The workspace supports Split below as an in-app layout feature, useful on tablets independently of OS split-screen. Multiple viewers of one task still share its PTY dimensions. See display and sizing.
