App: install and connect

The native App accesses terminals and files on a target computer from phones and tablets. Programs remain on the target; the App provides touch input, keyboards, device selection and file management.

Install and prepare

Choose an Android or iOS/iPadOS channel from installation. Install AnyTTY on the computer, run anytty and create a recognizable task.

App settings are separate from TUI settings. The computer’s tui-v3.yaml does not configure mobile fonts, the petal menu or software keyboard behavior.

Pair for the first time

Follow first mobile connection: prepare a reachable route, create an invitation on the computer, and scan or paste it in the App. Open the paired device’s terminal list and verify the target before attaching.

Distinguish an expired invitation, authorization failure and unreachable network. Regenerate the invitation, inspect access or repair routing accordingly.

Main areas

The device page handles pairing and target selection. The terminal workspace creates and operates tasks. File manager accesses target files. Settings control appearance, input and background preferences.

On first use, check device labels, font readability, content visibility when the keyboard opens, and automatic size ownership.

Read devices, terminal operations, input, files, then background behavior.
